This Friday was truly an unfortunate experience for me when we saw Dr. Potashnikova. I honestly don’t think she is a good fit for working with pediatric patients. My child will be 4 years old in just three months, and our family has several children who have been seen by doctors here before. My child is not shy or difficult to work with. I understand that young children can sometimes be nervous or need a little extra time to cooperate. A simple smile, a little patience, or trying again a second time can make a big difference in helping a child feel comfortable. Instead, when something didn’t work, I noticed sighs and expressions of frustration, which made me feel very uncomfortable. With pediatric patients, I believe doctors should be patient, communicate with the child, and be willing to try again when needed. I don’t think that is asking too much. . Thank you for all the taffs

went there today with my son for his very first dental appointment. scheduled the appointment originally for yesterday, went in and was told that doctor didn’t take our insurance, and to come back tomorrow. we go in today at 1130, the receptionist ? very nice, apologized about yesterday, very kind. we go into the back and wait a few minutes for the assistant, the assistant is very nice as well and very patient with our son (he’s 18 months old). was then told the doctor would be in shortly. 10 minutes pass and the assistant apologises and says she’ll be in shortly. 10 minutes pass again and still no doctor. we’re waiting about 30 minutes or so and the doctor finally arrives. without even saying hi to our son or us she pulls the seat my son is sitting on backwards to lay him down and catches his foot in between the chair which makes him scream in pain even before touching his teeth. once my son is laid down she basically looks at the work the assistant has done, says he has no cavities, and says see you in 6 months. we waited 30 minutes for this doctor to look at our son for 5 minutes. it was our first time here and will probably be our last just due to the carelessness of our doctor

This is the worst dental clinic I have ever experienced. The facility is dirty, and the staff is extremely unprofessional. Some of them cannot even communicate properly in English. My dental insurance company referred me to this clinic, so I took my daughter there to get braces. However, when they submitted the authorization request to my insurance company, they used the wrong procedure code. As a result, the insurance company denied the claim. I called the clinic and even placed a representative from my insurance company on the phone with them to explain the issue and provide the correct code that needed to be submitted. Despite this, they never corrected it. Every time I called to follow up, I was told that I had reached the wrong department. When I asked to be transferred to the correct department, they claimed they did not have the ability to transfer calls. They said they would send a message to their manager to contact me, but that never happened. After waiting with no response, I contacted them again and provided information for a new private insurance policy through UnitedHealthcare that covers the full cost. Still, I was given the same excuse β€” that I had reached the wr

I had such an amazing experience bringing my 11-year-old son to Pediatric Dental Center of North Lauderdale ! From the moment we walked in, Paola at the front desk made us feel so welcome. She was friendly, patient, and made the check-in process quick and easy. Dr. Terri is absolutely incredible with kids. She was gentle, kind, and took the time to explain everything to my son and me. She took extra time talking to my son in a way he could understand. She made him feel comfortable and safe the entire time. I loved that!! Also Claudia, her assistant, was just as wonderful. She was so sweet and reassuring. You can really see how much they care about their patients. I’m so grateful to have found a dental team that is professional, compassionate, and amazing with children. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a great dental team for their kids!
